Preface

Gender equality is important for creating fair, inclusive, and productive workplaces where all employees have equal opportunities to succeed and contribute. The objective of this research is to analyze the direct influence of AI-based HR systems and organizational culture on gender equality. This research uses a quantitative approach with a questionnaire method by distributing a structured list of questions to respondents, employing multiple linear regression analysis. Descriptive analysis was also conducted using the collected questionnaires to obtain an overview of the research variables. Data were verified using Statistical Product and Service Solutions (SPSS) version 25, with the entire employee population taken as a sample of 105 respondents. The results of this study indicate that both AI-based HR systems and organizational culture significantly influence gender equality. One of the key findings from this research is that effective auditing and monitoring of AI, along with a culture of diversity and empowerment, are essential to ensure fairness and equal opportunities for all employees. This highlights the critical role of transparent governance and inclusive workplace practices in fostering sustainable gender equality. This finding emphasizes the important principles of equity, inclusion, and accountability, which are at the core of SDG 5, Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women and Girls. This goal seeks to eliminate discrimination, promote equal participation, and ensure equal access to opportunities for all genders across all sectors of society.
