Classroom Behavior Recognition of Students and Teaching Quality Evaluation Method Based on YOLOv5 Model

As education enters the era of intelligence, how to intelligently conduct students' classroom behavior identification and teaching quality evaluation has gradually become an important task. In this context, this paper proposes a student classroom behavior recognition and teaching quality evaluation method based on the YOLOv5 model. First, obtaining students' classroom learning videos and using the trained YOLOv5 model to detect and recognize the student learning behaviors in the videos; Second, statistically analyzing the number of various students' behaviors and establishing the teaching quality evaluation model; Finally, according to the evaluation indicators developed to realize the evaluation of the quality of teaching. The experiment proves that the student classroom behavior recognition method based on the YOLOv5 model can provide timely and accurate feedback on the student's classroom learning situation and can better solve the problems of traditional teaching evaluation, such as time-consuming and subjective limitations.
