Healthcare monitoring and observation system has grown to be one of the most essential fields in recent years. For health monitoring there are many existing technologies like Bluetooth, RFID, NFC and WBAN. Lack of medical attention and proper surveillance has resulted in illnesses and death among many individuals. A reliable IOT-based comprehensive health monitoring system has come to rescue. This costeffective efficient alert system can be used with remote monitoring and control. Traditional methods of health monitoring have disrupted huge population and have posed challenges to India’s current health care system. In the traditional practice doctors handle the patient in shifts. Due to the insufficient medical staff for health monitoring may leave patient at times on risk of life. To combat these issues a smart technological system for health monitoring has been proposed. This smart system continuously monitors main vital signs like, BPM, Heart Rate, Body Temperature and SpO<inf xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">2</inf>. This smart device has an alarm which sounds when certain parameters surpass fixed threshold and it has also a SMS Alert system. This alert system informs caretaker or medical professionals to take quick action to save life of patient.
