Agentic AI: A COMPREHENSIVE OVERVIEW

Agentic AI represents a major advancement in artificial intelligence, defined by its ability to make autonomous decisions, set its own goals, and continuously improve with minimal human intervention. Unlike traditional AI, which relies on static rules and predefined inputs, Agentic AI adapts dynamically to real-world environments by learning from experience and acting proactively. This seminar explores its foundational technologies-including deep learning, reinforcement learning, neuro-symbolic models, and multiagent systems-which enable reasoning, planning, and evolution over time. Real-world applications span robotics, autonomous vehicles, smart healthcare, financial forecasting, and industrial automation, where Agentic AI enhances efficiency, accuracy, and personalization. However, challenges such as ethical governance, bias, security risks, and lack of transparency must be addressed through robust frameworks to ensure safe and responsible deployment. Overall, Agentic AI stands as a powerful frontier in reshaping human-machine interaction through intelligent, autonomous systems.
