Impact of AI on Decision-Making Processes within Collaborative Leadership Frameworks

This study explores the transformative influence of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on decision-making processes within collaborative leadership frameworks, aiming to assess AI's impact on decision efficiency, quality, and inclusivity while addressing emerging ethical challenges. The background highlights the rapid advancement of AI technologies and the consequent reevaluation of traditional leadership paradigms. A systematic literature review was conducted using multiple academic databases, including Google Scholar and Consensus, with search terms such as “Artificial Intelligence,” “AI in decision-making,” and “collaborative leadership.” The methodology involved thematic analysis of high-quality, relevant, and recent articles. Findings indicate that AI significantly enhances decision-making efficiency by automating tasks and providing predictive insights, thereby enabling more informed and strategic decisions. AI also improves decision quality through advanced analytics and predictive modeling and has the potential to democratize decision-making by incorporating diverse perspectives. However, these benefits require addressing ethical concerns such as transparency, accountability, and bias. The study recommends developing explainable AI systems, promoting ethical AI use, fostering AI literacy, and implementing continuous monitoring and evaluation to ensure responsible AI integration. The strategic integration of AI with human oversight can enhance decision-making processes, aligning with collaborative leadership principles.
