Potential of Large Language Models in Mathematics Education for Fragile Learning Contexts: A Scoping Review
This scoping review systematically maps the current research, pinpoints the application of LLMs in content generation for mathematics Education, and identifies applications, challenges, and future directions. Before providing future research directions, we provide a comprehensive knowledge of LLM applications in mathematics education, evaluation techniques, and pedagogical, ethical, and technical issues. In sum, our review delineates the existing future research directions and the possible utilization of LLMs in mathematics education to provide direction to address the educational requirements of marginalized groups in refugee education
