Exploring Generative AI Models for Creating Culturally Rich and Immersive Worlds in Chinese Animated Content

The use of generative AI models has transformative potential to generate culturally immersive animated worlds in the Chinese animation industry. These models primarily reflect rich cultural heredity in a reflection of the global demands for unique content. This work employs systematic literature reviews to study state of the art generative AI models and how they enable and pose challenges for cultural integration and implications. However, the findings examine that AI recreates old traditional Chinese art forms and can benefit storytelling, but it is limited by cultural sensitivity, ethical concerns, as well as technical difficulties. Leveraging generative AI for culturally rich, globally appealing animations while addressing challenges in the field is the focus of this research.
