This study investigates the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) elements in teaching English to college students, focusing on how AI enhances teachers' routine work and student learning outcomes. AI-driven tools such as Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS) offer personalized learning experiences and provide automated feedback, reducing the burden on educators. The research analyzed data from 150 students across three institutions, evaluating the effectiveness of AI-assisted learning platforms on student performance and teacher efficiency. Results show significant improvements in student engagement, language proficiency, and reduced teacher workload. However, challenges related to data privacy, technological accessibility, and over-reliance on AI were noted. This study concludes that while AI offers substantial benefits, its integration should be balanced with human interaction to maintain effective teaching. Futureresearch should focus on optimizing AI applications for broader use and addressing ethical concerns.
