Digitizing Leadership and HRM through ESG-Based Artificial Intelligence Governance Frameworks

The world of today is transforming rapidly, and the intersection of environmental, social, and governance (ESG) issues with artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming the manner in which businesses and society operate. This convergence has huge potential to resolve pressing matters such as enhancing corporate governance, creating social inclusion, and mitigating the impact of climate change. Use of AI, however, also generates challenging issues and ethical concerns, which further risks undermining ESG performance. This research will bridge the existing gap in knowledge by providing a new appraisal of how emerging technologies are influencing strategic leadership in achieving business goals within the ESG paradigm. Bibliometric analysis was conducted with R Studio (4.2.0), VOS viewer (1.6.20), and Biblioshiny (4.2.0) to probe this. The PRISMA method was applied in selecting the data, comprising 205 research articles, from the Scopus database. The findings highlight the need for incorporating AI and ESG principles into boardroom practices and deploying the latest security detection technology. Hence, to mitigate risks and enhance confidence in business operations, CEOs need to prioritize cybersecurity and transparency.
