Impossibility of Standing Recovery in Artificial Epistemic Agents

This paper proves the impossibility of standing recovery in artificial epistemic agents. It demonstrates that once standing is lost, no admissible operation can restore it without violating conservation of admissibility or scope invariance. All purported recovery routes—architectural reset, retraining, probabilistic validation, governance override, or post-hoc justification—are eliminated by exhaustion. Standing loss is therefore terminal rather than degradable or repairable. No algorithms, recovery procedures, or implementation guidance are provided; the result is necessity-based and eliminative.
