OPTIMIZATION OF THE MAIN (PRODUCTION) BUSINESS PROCESSES OF INDUSTRIAL ENTERPRISES

The article describes ways to optimize the main business processes of an industrial enterprise. The topic chosen by the authors is relevant, as many enterprises are currently forced to automate and digitalize their production management processes in order to remain competitive and successful. The study was conducted using methods such as modeling, description, and analysis. The object of the study was all the main (production) business processes of an industrial enterprise. As an example (model) of improving the enterprise management system before and after optimizing the main (production) business processes, the authors have created two diagrams. In order to obtain the results, certain tasks were set: first, to create a diagram of the company’s business processes before optimization; second, to create a diagram of the business processes after optimization; third, to analyze these diagrams and describe the methods that can be used to optimize the processes that were omitted in the second diagram compared to the first. Based on the analysis of the business processes before and after optimization, the authors reached the following conclusions: optimization involves the automation and digitalization of business processes; optimization can improve production efficiency and reduce the need for a large number of employees. This research is promising and in demand in the context of the current constant development of digital technologies. In order for production to continue to generate profits, it is necessary to use innovative technologies (artificial intelligence (AI), the Internet of Things (IoT), robotic process automation (RPA), cloud storage, and machine learning), which will allow companies to compete in the free market of goods and services and increase the efficiency and profitability of industrial enterprises.
