An Application of Various Methods and Techniques Used in ELT At the Secondary Level

The present Indian Education System judges a child based on the grades in the written exams. Excessive pressure of entrance exams, over expectations of the parents and exam phobia in the students have been leading to many psychological depressions, mental disorders and suicide cases. In this system, English is taught and widely used as a communicative language in this digital age. English learning opens various doors for students of careers too. Hence this paper aims to suggest how one can apply various methods and techniques in English Language Teaching (ELT). This paper focuses on especially 12th standard English Yuvak-Bharti textbook. It also aims to make English learning and teaching process easible, understandable, applicable, expressive, and useable and an interesting one.
