Research Context and Trends of Artificial Intelligence Literacy among Higher Education Teachers in China--A Bibliometric Analysis Based on CiteSpace

With the deepening integration of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies in higher education, the AI literacy of university faculty has become a critical factor in advancing the digital transformation of education. This study employs CiteSpace to conduct a visual analysis of literature on AI literacy among university faculty in China from 2015 to 2025, systematically reviewing the research evolution, key themes, and developmental trends in this field. Based on the analysis, recommendations are proposed for enhancing the AI literacy of university faculty, including establishing a systematic training system, promoting the integration of disciplines and technology, and strengthening institutional support. The study aims to provide insights for the digital transformation of higher education and the development of teaching faculty in China.
