AI-Assisted Learning Management System using Retrieval-Augmented Generation and MERN Architecture
This research paper presents the design and development of an AI-Assisted Learning Management System integrating Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LangChain orchestration, semantic vector search, and MERN stack architecture. The system enables students to upload educational PDF documents and interact with them through AI-powered features such as contextual question answering, automated flashcard generation, quiz generation, and personalized study assistance. The application utilizes MongoDB Atlas Vector Search for semantic retrieval, JWT and Google OAuth for secure authentication, and Flutter-based cross-platform mobile application development using clean architecture and Provider state management. The proposed system aims to improve learning accessibility, revision efficiency, and interactive educational support using modern Generative AI technologies.
