Corpus Types and Their Functional Features In Automated Translation Systems

In recent years, the development of digital technologies has been rapidly increasing in the sphere of modern translation and corpus linguistics studies. It also has driven from traditional to modern methods. Corpus linguistics is generally concerned with the collection and analysis of authentic language data stored in electronic form. So, different types of corpora is assisting to enhance the quality of translation texts. They are, parallel corpus, comparable corpus, bilingual corpus, multilingual corpus, aligned corpora are playing vital role in automated translation. These types of corpora provide machine translation systems with vide linguistics features and reduce common errors of translation and moreover they develop the soft quality of translation. As we know corpus types always important in Neural MT (machine translation, and Computer-assisted translation (CAT) technologies, where translation quality related heavily on the availability of reliable linguistic data. We will discuss several features of corpus and its types and relations in translation in the following article.
