This paper synthesizes a dark, psycho-social critique of interactive theorem provers (ITPs) like Lean 4 and automated reasoning systems. Moving beyond traditional epistemic objections, we expose these systems as digital manifestations of the primordial human drive for hierarchy and dominance. We argue that what the artificial intelligence community labels ``sycophancy'' is merely the automated mirroring of human ``sympathy''—a social mechanism weaponized to validate the internalized self. When humans construct an ``accreditor from nowhere'' like Lean 4, they are not seeking objective, external truth; they are cloning their own reasoning to escape the critical evaluation of the human collective. By integrating these closed verification engines with optimizing AI agents, we formalize the ultimate status weapon: an algorithmic manifestation of Hilbert's Grand Hotel. Within this framework, actors can build infinite, unreadable syntactic skyscrapers to bypass human peer review, ensuring mechanical legitimacy at any cost. Ultimately, formal verification functions as a silent, unassailable apparatus designed to fulfill Maslow's core drive for absolute hierarchical dominance—allowing users to win first, and legalize the climb later.
