FUNDAMENTALS OF PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS IN AI-DRIVEN MANAGEMENT: TRANSFORMING MARKETING, FINANCE, AND HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT.
The emergence of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Big Data, cloud computing, and machine learning has transformed the modern business environment into an intelligent, data-driven ecosystem. Organizations today generate enormous volumes of structured and unstructured data through digital platforms, enterprise systems, financial transactions, customer interactions, and workforce activities. In this context, Predictive Analytics has emerged as one of the most influential managerial tools for improving organizational efficiency, competitiveness, and strategic decision-making. Predictive Analytics employs statistical models, machine learning algorithms, historical data analysis, and forecasting techniques to identify patterns and predict future outcomes. It supports organizations in understanding consumer behavior, forecasting financial risks, enhancing workforce productivity, and achieving sustainable competitive advantage. This chapter critically examines the concept, evolution, theoretical foundations, and strategic applications of Predictive Analytics in Marketing, Finance, and Human Resource Management. It also explains how Predictive Analytics enriches business studies literature and managerial research. The discussion further evaluates organizational challenges in adopting Predictive Analytics, including ethical concerns, data privacy issues, technological barriers, skill shortages, and implementation costs. The chapter concludes that Predictive Analytics has become a fundamental component of AI-driven management and a strategic necessity for organizations operating in dynamic and competitive markets.
