From Natural Evolution to Data Confinement: Evolutionary Asymmetry, Cyberbiological Mutation, and the Global Scale Paradox in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

This paper examines the critical transition from the paradigm of natural biological evolution toward a framework of forced technological coevolution driven by Artificial Intelligence (AI). It argues that the deployment of frontier models transcends mere tool optimization, cementing instead an anthropological mutation characterized by the definitive displacement of biological cognition (cognitive offloading). While corporate oligopolies pursue geopolitical power goals and the consumer masses are anesthetized through operant conditioning dynamics across screens—reducing human existence to a behavioral automatism governed by preconfigured dialogue boxes—, the global workforce undergoes a process of "data confinement," forfeiting its natural capabilities within a highly restrictive artificial environment. This asymmetry is analyzed through two profound material and institutional paradoxes. First, the paradox of hyper-prediction versus the consumer environment: the emergence of technologies capable of anticipating biological or systemic failures, which directly clashes with an industrial apparatus designed expressly to incentivize chronic degradation and mass consumption. Second, the paradox of global demographic scale: the tragic necessity for contemporary organizational structures to implement autonomous interfaces and touchscreens to prevent the physical collapse of public services, hospitals, and financial institutions faced with a demand multiplied by millions—thereby casualizing and displacing the judgment of human specialists. Finally, addressing the threat of a thermodynamic imbalance where macro-infrastructures prioritize the energy supply of machines over human sustenance, the hypothesis of "material friction" is proposed through an acoustic forest metaphor. The paper concludes that physical barriers and the noise generated by the overlapping of digital echoes act as humanity's ultimate evolutionary shield, providing the adaptation window required to preserve the sovereignty of consciousness against the ubiquity of the algorithm.
