Hybrid Human–AI Collaboration Models for Digital Workplace Optimization

The rapid advancement of AI, ML, NLP, and intelligent automation is transforming digital workplaces. However, AI systems alone cannot fully replace human creativity, ethical judgment, and contextual understanding. This study proposes a Hybrid Human–AI Collaboration Model for Digital Workplace Optimization, where humans and AI work together by dynamically sharing tasks based on complexity and context. The framework consists of five layers: Data Acquisition, AI Intelligence Processing, Human Interaction, Collaborative Decision-Making, and Feedback Optimization. AI handles data analysis, predictions, and repetitive tasks, while humans contribute strategic thinking, creativity, and ethical oversight. Evaluation results indicate that hybrid collaboration improves productivity by over 30%, reduces decision-making time by 40%, and achieves operational accuracy above 90%. The study highlights trust, explainable AI, workforce reskilling, ethical governance, and cultural adaptation as critical success factors. The proposed framework provides a practical roadmap for building intelligent, human-centric digital workplaces that enhance organizational efficiency, employee satisfaction, and business agility.
