Coil Design of EVs Wireless Charging System Based on MCR-WPT

The adoption of wireless energy transmission technology for electric vehicles is more in line with the development trend of the future society. Given the influence of the electrical parameters on the transmission performance of the magnetically coupled resonant wireless power transmission system, this paper studies the impact of the coil parameters on the transmission performance of the system from the equivalent circuit theory. According to the wireless charging standard for electric vehicles developed by the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE), the coil parameters of the electric vehicle wireless charging system are designed. Finally, the system is verified by MATLAB and MAXWELL software. The simulation results prove the feasibility of the parameter design method.
