Switched capacitor converter contains switches, capacitor, and no inductor. These are widely used in low power application. This converter suffers from disadvantages like high ripple, poor voltage regulation, and voltage gain, surge current and low efficiency. This paper analyses a switched capacitor push pull converter for ripple and voltage regulation and compares its performance with positive output super lift elementary Luo converter which has inductor at the input side for ripple and voltage regulation. It is found that the converter with inductor has low ripple and far better voltage regulation compared with converter with no inductor. The simulation was done mat lab Simulink.

Abstract
Switched capacitor converter contains switches, capacitor, and no inductor. These are widely used in low power application. This converter suffers from disadvantages like high ripple, poor voltage regulation, and voltage gain, surge current and low efficiency.
