Design of Wearable Human Monitoring System Based on Internet of Things

Vulnerable groups are not enough to cope with all kinds of difficulties when traveling or in danger. This paper focuses on elder monitoring and proposes a wearable human monitoring system based on Internet of things technology, embedded technology and data fusion technology. The system can realize the real-time collection, processing, data fusion of human body information (acceleration, heart rate, temperature and location), the passive remote alarm of human abnormality, the upper computer monitoring and other functions. In this paper, the model of wearable body monitoring system is presented. The system is composed of distributed wearable intelligent terminals and upper computer. Intelligent terminal includes microcontroller unit (STM32), fall monitoring unit, pulse monitoring unit, temperature monitoring unit and so on. The upper computer consists of a front-end, a back-end and a server. The controlled objects are monitored remotely by Guardians or doctors visiting the upper computer. In the software design, the system uses Kalman filtering, innovative relative location acquisition algorithm to realize monitoring data accurate and reliable. Through a large number of experiments, the feasibility of the system design is verified, which provides a good solution for wearable human monitoring system.
