One of the main causes of traffic jam is due to volume of traffic exceeding the designed capacity of the road networks. This paper has established a model to research the feasibility of alleviating congestion by introducing self-driving vehicles. And this paper has determined specific influences on the traffic networks after introducing these vehicles.
