An Analysis of Security Threats in VoIP Communication Systems

VoIP is currently one of the most implemented technologies in the communications industry. An important attribute of each computer system is the way in which it ensures security, the hierarchy of access to information and the way in which it protects itself against intentional or unauthorized access attempts, internal or external. Securing Internet communications can be likened to signing a letter and sending it in a sealed envelope. The signature gives the authenticity of the letter, and the sealed envelope gives it the necessary confidentiality. This paper presents a foray into the security of information systems, an optimization of the implementation of security policies at the level of communication networks to ensure the protection of confidential data.
