Ant Colony Algorithms Application for Telco Networks Performance with Multi-criteria Optimization

In future telecommunications networks, the management of network resources can benefit significantly from using artificial intelligence algorithms. These algorithms offer dynamic and automated solutions for resource allocation. This paper proposes using the Ant Colony (AC) algorithm, specifically designed for network resource allocation. It uses a multi-criteria optimization approach considering network capacity, losses, and delay. All these parameters are essential in next-generation 5G networks. Through evolution, the algorithm maximizes overall network throughput and reduces losses while ensuring efficient use of available resources. The results demonstrate the proposed approach’s effectiveness in enhancing network performance.
