According to some embodiments, system, apparatus and methods are provided comprising a development environment; one or more system components configured to operate within the development environment; a graphical user interface in the development environment that enables a user to: develop at least one model using an arbitrary language, wherein development of the at least one model includes accessing the one or more system components; wherein the development environment includes program code for a platform in the arbitrary language; and an execution model configured to execute the developed model on the platform.
