INFORMATION SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SELECTING AND REPRODUCING INFORMATION, PARTICULARLY FOR USE IN WORKSHOPS

An information system has: a component memory for storing component data sets; a component link device for creating component links in the one component link memory; a document memory for storing document data sets; a document link device for linking entries for components for which a component data set exists in the component memory to the corresponding component data set; and a document access device having a document selection device and an evaluation device that is fashioned to (i) identify first component data sets linked to a first document data set, (ii) identify second component data sets linked to the identified first component data sets, and (iii) identify second document data sets linked to the identified second component data sets.
