The method includes: obtaining an image sent by a user, wherein the image to is collected by the user for a merchant; identifying carbon-saving behavior of the merchant, comprising processing the image using a trained image recognition model; and determining, based on the carbon-saving behavior, a value representing an amount of carbon saved by the merchant.
