The information processing device according to one embodiment of the present technology has the feature of, on the basis of relationship between a first cost required in a case where execution of a predetermined task has been a mistake and a second cost that is allowed by a user for the predetermined task that has been executed by mistake, calculating a confirmation degree of confirming the user as to whether or not to execute the predetermined task, and performing the confirmation by contents corresponding to the calculated degree.
