A T.V. camera, mounted on the arm of a teleoperator remotely controlled gping hand, is used to view an object to be grasped through an in-line semi-reflective mirror and a laterally disposed reflective mirror. Alignment of the teleoperator with the object is indicated by a single superimposed image of the object on the television viewing screen.
