The signals received therein are automatically processed by a personal computer which analyzes the health state of the patient by way of specific software. An expert system can additionally be included which includes control software, analysis software and interpretation software to provide the physician with first indication data about the health of the patient and with possible modes of intervention, so that the physician can arrive at a substantially definitive interpretation of the health state of the patient.
