A description of database performance may be presented to a user in accordance with the determined index overhead. Furthermore, in some embodiments, apparatus, methods and computer-code for (i) determining fractional aggregate index-wait time in accordance with database statement execution plans and (ii) presenting a description of database performance in accordance with the fractional aggregated index-wait time are also disclosed.
