ChatGPT and beyond: Considerations in the use of Large Language Models (LLMs) in clinical practice (Preprint)
<sec> <title>UNSTRUCTURED</title> Artificial intelligence-based chatbots that fall in the category of Large Language Models, such as ChatGPT, have caught the world's attention. They boast a broad range of general capabilities and are believed to have the potential to revolutionize nearly every aspect of work and human interaction. The application of these tools to address administrative and resource challenges in healthcare delivery is promising. This paper discusses the use of these tools to introduce efficiency for frontline healthcare delivery and examines considerations and limitations that must be taken into account when using them in healthcare. Additionally, it explores potential future applications of LLMs in healthcare. </sec>
