The article analyzes the features and challenges of strategic human resources management in the context of digital transformation of organizations. It examines theoretical approaches, including the resource theory of the firm, the concept of human capital analytics, and the role of HR as a strategic partner. The article presents the opinions of leading researchers and practical empirical data from Russia and around the world, illustrating the changing requirements for competencies, the spread of HR technologies, and the challenges of staff adaptation. Based on the review, conclusions are drawn about the necessary directions for developing HR strategies: strengthening analytics, retraining programs, integrating HR platforms, and creating a digital culture.
