The "turn enemies into allies" loop has appeared in games from Diablo II's Necromancer to Elden Ring's Spirit Ashes. Soulbind Protocol does not claim to invent this loop; it claims to universalize and intelligentize it. Soulbind Protocol v3.0 proposes a four-layer AI agent interaction framework designed to address two systemic failures in modern single-player gaming: high cognitive onboarding friction and player loneliness. The framework defines four distinct roles for local AI agents—Cognitive Coach, Companion, Execution Agent, and Interface Translator—built upon the Complex Reality Compression Study (CRCS) philosophy. This version introduces formal boundaries defining what AI agents should not do, a research agenda identifying three open verification topics (Game Companion AI, Game Agent Architecture, and Universal RTS Controller Protocol), and two original concepts: the Soulbind Contract (converting defeated enemies into allies via Hatred Reversal) and a three-tiered operation system enabling seamless transitions between voice, menu, and button-combo inputs. Deployed on local GPU NPU cores for zero latency and privacy, the framework positions AI companionship and accessibility as a defining hardware feature for the next generation of gaming GPUs.
