Heart Beat Reading Map

This record is the reading map of the Heartbeat Framework — the index to a sixteen-document open-access estate on team psychology for the 24-hour organisation, extended to the mixed human–machine shift: three core papers, seven applied instruments (A0–A6), four extended works, and two standing instruments. The map gives every document a one-line summary and its DOI, a role-based entry table — start here, depending on who you are: deployer, ward manager, overseer, buyer, builder, assessor, keyworker, inspector — the order of operations, and the standing rules that travel with everything: lenses, not labels · machines report observations, humans assign meaning · no accountability without authority · every machine behaviour has a return address · signals, never targets. New in v1.3: the estate grows by three — The Damping Audit (A5, the ward altitude), After the Machine (A6, the AI Interaction Outcome Profile — the person altitude), and The Glass Ledger v2 (the tamper-evident decision journal). All DOI placeholders are now filled. The Screen and the Ledger take their own section as the standing instruments, completing the clinical pathway the estate has been building toward: Screen → AIOP → Ledger — assess at the gate, measure over time, record beyond amendment. Two new entry rows route the people those instruments serve: those responsible for a person in care who uses AI, and those needing an audit trail that survives inspection. The Theory, In Silico moves to an in-preparation note — nothing is listed on this map before it exists.
