Impact of Artificial Intelligence On Talent Acquisition Efficiency: A Conceptual Study On Hr Digital Transformation
Artificial intelligence (AI) is reshaping Human Resource Management (HRM), particularly in Talent Acquisition, transforming how organizations identify, attract, and hire new employees. In doing this, this study uses multiple secondary sources such as SHRM (Society of human resource management) Talent Trends Reports, Deloitte Human Capital Trends, Gartner HR Survey and peer-reviewed articles to build an abstract model for explaining how the 4 categories of available AI tools (resume screeners; predictive analytics; chatbots; automated interviewing) will evolve the landscape of talent acquisition. Statistical information reveals the following facts: 51% of companies are currently using AI within their recruitment process. Research has found that those using AI will see their hiring times decrease by as much as 50%. The amount of use of AI tools in HR has increased from 26% in 2024 to over 40% in 2025. This paper analysed the use of AI and its benefits across all four HR functional areas (planning, organization, direction, and control); this analysis revealed the major opportunities and challenges associated with using AI for digital transformation of HR. The findings suggest that AI can enhance recruitment effectiveness and make HR operations more efficient and cost-effective, as well as enable data-based decision-making; however, organizations need to be proactive about mitigating the challenges presented by using and implementing AI (algorithmic bias, workforce upskilling, and change management). Finally, the research has produced a conceptualized model for transforming HR through AI technology, with three layers to the model, and issued a number of practical and policy recommendations for HR practitioners, leaders, and scholars.
