Digital Transformation in Human Resource Management and Its Influence on Organisational Behaviour
The contemporary business environment has witnessed a transformative shift in Human Resource Management (HRM) practices through the integration of digital technologies. This research paper investigates the multifaceted relationship between digital transformation initiatives and the resulting changes in organisational behaviour. The study examines how emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence, HR analytics platforms, digital learning systems, and virtual collaboration tools—have fundamentally altered workforce dynamics, employee engagement patterns, and organisational culture. Through an analytical review of existing literature and empirical evidence, this paper identifies both positive outcomes (enhanced efficiency, data-driven decision-making, improved employee experience) and significant challenges (technological resistance, digital skills deficiency, data protection concerns, reduction in human interaction). The research argues that sustainable digital transformation in HRM requires deliberate integration of technological advancement with organisational values and human-centric approaches. This paper contributes to the field by presenting a comprehensive behavioural perspective on digital HRM, demonstrating how technology can serve as an enabler of organizational effectiveness while maintaining the essential human elements that drive long-term success in contemporary work environments
